Peter Tittmann

Peter Tittmann has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Peter started their career at the California Coastal Commission in 2001 as a Coastal Program Analyst, where they focused on reviewing energy infrastructure permits, developing resource protection plans, and creating a geographic information system. In 2006, they joined the University of California, Davis as a Postdoctoral Researcher, and worked there until 2011. Peter then transitioned to LocusCor Geographics, where they worked as a Principal from 2000 to 2010. In 2007, Peter also served as the External Chair for UC Davis GSA at UC Students Association, where they developed advocacy platforms and strategies and engaged with legislators for graduate education policy. Peter'smost recent position is with New Forests, where they worked as a Senior Analyst, Investments and Operations from 2016 to 2020, then served as a Manager from 2018 to 2020, and currently holds the position of Associate Director starting from July 2020.

Peter Tittmann completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Peter attended this institution from 1995 to 1999. Later on, they pursued further education at the University of California, Davis, where they obtained a PhD in Geography from 2005 to 2011. Additionally, from 2007 to 2008, they attended the Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Davis, where they earned a Business Development Certificate with a focus on Business Development, Entrepreneurship, and Clean Technology.
