Adam Cowan

Adam Cowan is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in project development, finance, corporate transactions, and mergers and acquisitions, particularly within the power, oil and gas, renewables, transport, and infrastructure sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director at New Fortress Energy since March 2021, Adam previously held the position of Vice President, Senior Development Counsel. Prior to this role, Adam was Counsel at Sidley Austin LLP from May 2018 to March 2021, and spent over thirteen years at Linklaters in various capacities, including Managing Associate and Associate. Additionally, Adam has served as Senior Legal Counsel at Total, focusing on a range of corporate and financial transactions. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures from the University of Bristol and legal training at BPP Law School.
