Andrew Dete

Andrew Dete has built a robust career in finance and energy, currently serving as Managing Director at New Fortress Energy since October 2020. Previous roles include Board Member at Energos Infrastructure and CELSE - Centrais Eletricas de Sergipe S.A. from August 2022 to February 2024 and April 2021 to October 2022, respectively. Prior to these positions, Andrew held the title of Vice President in Project, Infrastructure, and Principal Finance at Goldman Sachs from July 2014 to October 2020, and served as Principal and Associate in Project Finance at SunPower Corporation from July 2011 to July 2014. Earlier experiences also include an Analyst role at Barclays Capital from 2009 to August 2011 and a Summer Analyst position at Lehman Brothers in 2008. Andrew began the professional journey with an internship at the U.S. Department of State in early 2008. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Dartmouth College, where attendance spanned from 2005 to 2009, after graduating from Marist School in 2005.
