Jerry is currently the VP of Infrastructure and Security at New Fortress Energy, where they lead all aspects of IT infrastructure delivery and security for the company's LNG supply chain.
Previously, Jerry served as the Senior Director of Enterprise Architecture and Engineering at New York Power Authority, where they developed IT roadmaps and guided the migration to a collaborative environment via Microsoft365.
Jerry also held the position of VP of Architecture and Engineering, Infrastructure and Cloud Services at Shutterstock, where they delivered a Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery process in a DevOps pipeline.
Jerry's experience also includes roles as the Senior Director of IT Infrastructure Services at Zoetis, Assistant Vice President at Travelers, VP Program Director at Nemertes Research, and VP Global Network Engineering at Marsh & McLennan.
Before that, they were the Executive Director of Network Services at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and a Senior Manager of Information Technology at IBM.
Jerry began their career at American Express, working their way up from lead engineer to Director of Global Networks.
Throughout their career, Jerry has demonstrated a strong focus on achieving measurable business outcomes through IT innovation and strategic partnerships.
Jerry Gentry holds an MBA in Information Research from Arizona State University. Jerry also obtained a BS in Political Science with a focus on survey research from the same institution. In addition, they hold a certification as an IBM Certified Network Architect from IBM.
