Rodrigo Pinho

Rodrigo Pinho has a diverse work experience in the energy industry, having held various roles in different companies. Rodrigo'smost recent position was at New Fortress Energy as a Commercial Director in the Terminals & Infrastructure segment, where they were involved in natural gas procurement, liquefaction, shipping, logistics, and power generation.

Prior to that, they worked at Vopak, initially as a Senior BD Manager in Brazil, where they focused on generating growth opportunities and negotiating commercial contracts. Later, they were promoted to the role of New Energies & LNG | Commercial & BD Manager | Americas, where they led commercial and business development activities for LNG infrastructure projects in the Americas region.

Before joining Vopak, Rodrigo took a sabbatical break in 2018, during which they were associated with Parmath Niketan.

Rodrigo also has experience in management consulting and investment, having worked as the Managing Partner at MJ-12 Participações. Rodrigo was responsible for leading the firm's strategic direction and generating revenue through alliances and partnerships.

Earlier in their career, Rodrigo worked at Schlumberger, a multinational oilfield services company. Rodrigo Pinho holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering and Production Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, completed between 1996 and 2001. Rodrigo also pursued a Post Graduate in Engineering specializing in Petroleum Engineering at the same university in 2002. In 2004, Rodrigo obtained a Professional Certificate in Drilling & Completion Technology and Well Control from Murchison Well Academy. In 2010 and 2011, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Strategic Planning & Marketing at COPPEAD UFRJ.
