Ron Annesley

Ron Annesley, CCLP, has extensive work experience in the mining industry, particularly in the management of copper concentrate sales agreements and logistics. Ron currently serves as the Director of Concentrate Marketing at New Gold Inc., where they are responsible for managing sales agreements and concentrate logistics. Prior to this, they held the same role at Nevada Copper Corp from 2019 to 2022.

Ron also worked at Barrick Gold Corporation, where they held various positions over a span of 25 years. Ron served as the Director of Global Marketing and Sales from 2012 to 2019, Manager of Global Marketing and Sales from 2008 to 2012, Manager of Marketing and Logistics from 1999 to 2008, and Contract Administrator/Logistics from 1994 to 1999.

Before joining Barrick Gold Corporation, Ron worked at Placer Dome Inc as a Contract Administrator/Transportation Coordinator from 1988 to 1994. In this role, they managed sales and transportation contracts for mineral products from Placer Dome's mines in British Columbia.

Ron Annesley, CCLP, holds an International Business Management Diploma with a focus on International Trade & Logistics from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Ron also obtained the CCLP designation, which stands for Certified Logistics Professional, from CITT, an institution in Toronto, Ontario. This certification further solidifies their expertise in logistics, materials, and supply chain management.
