Hans Peter Schlegelmilch

Hans Peter Schlegelmilch is an experienced professional currently serving as the CEO of Brain of Materials since August 2019, where responsibilities include creating Digital Product Passports, tracking material feedstock, and exploring new materials. Schlegelmilch also holds the position of Aufsichtsratsvorsitzender at NEW AG since February 2015. Previously, Schlegelmilch was a Member of the Board of Directors at imat (Shenyang) Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. from December 2015 to November 2021 and served as Geschäftsführer at imat-uve group gmbh from April 1995 to November 2021. Schlegelmilch earned a Diplom-Chemiker degree in Chemistry from the University of Duisburg-Essen from 1989 to 1993 and completed the Abitur at Gymnasium Am Geroweiher, Mönchengladbach, from 1979 to 1988. Early education was completed at Grundschule Maria Montessori in Mönchengladbach from 1975 to 1979.
