Harry Viens

Harry began his career in marketing in Boston as a copywriter. From there he worked with Marketing firms in New York, Chicago and San Francisco ultimately settling in Connecticut as a partner in Mason & Madison, a New Haven based advertising agency where he spent 20+ years transforming the company into a marketing, branding and business development consultancy.

During his time there Harry built the firm from a small local agency with 12 people into a regional company with 80+ people and $50MM in sales, serving companies such as Eversource (Northeast Utilities), Duracell (P&G), GM, Black & Decker, Saab, Beretta USA, Verizon Wireless and SAS Airlines.

In 2004 he retired and currently provides marketing and business development consulting services on a part-time basis. His primary skills are team building, research, data analysis and strategic planning.

He has served for 10 years on the Board of New Hampshire Electric Co-op.

The New Hampshire Electric Cooperative (NHEC) is a member-owned and controlled electric distributor serving 84,000 members in 115 towns and cities. They maintain over 5,500 miles of energized line that traverse nine of the 10 counties in New Hampshire. Headquartered in Plymouth, the Cooperative serves members in nine operating districts: Colebrook, Sunapee, Andover, Plymouth, Meredith, Conway, Alton, Lisbon, Ossipee, and Raymond.
