Dawn Mikkelson

Dawn Mikkelson, MPA currently serves as the Co-Chair of the DEIB Strategy Team at New Horizon Academy. Prior to this, Dawn held roles such as Executive Assistant to the CEO at Synergos AMC and Account Executive Director overseeing operations for nonprofit organizations. Dawn's background includes serving in various AmeriCorps programs, managing a database project at the New York Civil Liberties Union, and performing policy research at the National Disability Rights Network. Dawn holds a Master of Public Administration from The City College of New York and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from St. Cloud State University.
