Syvanne Avitzur

Syvanne Avitzur is an accomplished professional with diverse experience in advocacy, research, and project management. Currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors and as a Naomi Chazan Advocacy Fellow at NIFC since October 2022, Syvanne also holds roles as a Researcher and Project Manager at the Ivey Foundation, focusing on net-zero policies. Previously, Syvanne worked as a Research Assistant for Global Affairs Canada and as a Writer for iPolitics. Other notable positions include Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Ottawa, Donor & Board Communications Specialist at הקרן החדשה לישראל, and Grant Proposal Writer at the Neighbourhood Action Youth Employment Committee. Syvanne holds a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in International Development and Neuroscience from the University of Guelph and is pursuing dual Master of Arts degrees in Environmental Policy and Public and International Affairs.
