Johvanna Sampson

Johvanna Sampson is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in community development lending. Currently serving as Managing Director of Lending Programs at New Jersey Community Capital since June 2024, Johvanna previously held the role of Vice President of Commercial Lending at BlueHub Capital, where expertise in marketing and underwriting community development loans was demonstrated. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Loan Officer at Primary Care Development Corporation, where skills in securing lending opportunities and conducting due diligence were utilized. Johvanna's career also encompasses roles at Sterling National Bank and First Niagara Bank focused on mortgage lending for first-time homebuyers, and earlier positions at Red River Bank and Regions Bank with responsibilities in commercial and portfolio management. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Louisiana State University and an MBA from Southern University.
