Magdaliz Roura

Magdaliz Roura is a highly experienced professional serving as a Court Interpreter at New Jersey Superior Court since December 2019 while also working as a freelance Certified Spanish/English Interpreter since 2011. As the founder and manager of Magdaliz and Magdaliz's Latin Ensemble Crisol, Roura has contributed to the performance of folk and traditional music from various Latin American cultures since 1997. Roura additionally has extensive teaching experience, offering workshops on Latin music and culture at institutions such as the Philadelphia School and Drexel/Hahnemann University. With a background as a Licensed Medical Interpreter Trainer at Quantum Inc and roles in various music therapy and educational settings, Roura has leveraged extensive education in psychology, music therapy, and interpretation to facilitate cultural and linguistic connections.
