Bob Medina

Bob Medina is a prominent figure in the engineering and construction industry, with over 45 years of experience working on major projects in the NJ/NY market. He graduated from Newark College of Engineering (NJIT) in 1975 with a BSCE and founded Medina Consultants P.C. in 1989, growing it to become the largest Hispanic-owned engineering firm in New Jersey and the third largest in the US. Medina's work involved a wide range of clients, including contracts for federal, state, county agencies, and private entities. In 2010, he merged Medina Consultants with TY Lin International and served as Senior VP and on the Board of Director of the firm. He founded Medina 43 Business Strategies in 2015 to help small firms with business growth, mergers and acquisitions. In 2013, he was appointed to the NJIT Board of Overseers and later became Chair of the Board in January 2023. Medina is also the Co-Founder and Co-Chair of the NJIT Hispanic and Latinx Leadership Council and a member of the Advancement Advisory Council of the College of Education at William Paterson University.
