Dibakar Datta

Dibakar Datta is an accomplished academic in the field of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, currently serving as a University Senate Member, Graduate Program Director, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor at the New Jersey Institute of Technology since September 2016. Previous experience includes a role as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Stanford University and research assistant positions at the University of Pennsylvania and Brown University, where Dibakar completed a PhD in Solid Mechanics. Further education includes multiple degrees in Computational Mechanics and Structural Engineering from renowned institutions such as Centrale Nantes, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, and the Indian Institute of Science.
