Glenn Wolosh

Director HPC And Research Computing at New Jersey Institute of Technology

Glenn (Gedaliah) Wolosh has extensive work experience in the field of research computing and high-performance computing (HPC). Glenn (Gedaliah) started their career in 2000 at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) as a Senior Academic and Research Computing Specialist. In this role, they were responsible for managing the scientific software stack for the NJIT HPC research computing environment. This included compilers, MPI libraries, scientific libraries, and applications. Glenn held this position for over 20 years until July 2021 when they were promoted to Assistant Director of Research Computing and Cloud. After a year in that role, they became the Director of HPC and Research Computing in September 2022.

Additionally, Glenn worked as an HPC Administrator at UMDNJ from January 2011 to June 2013.

Glenn (Gedaliah) Wolosh has a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Seton Hall University and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Queens College. Glenn (Gedaliah) also holds a certification as a Rescale Certified User Expert, which they obtained in December 2021 from Rescale.
