Brett MacIas

Brett Macias is a skilled Teaching Artist at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, where since January 2019, Brett has collaborated with over 100 students from the Newark Public School area to create original musicals, guiding them in script writing and song structure. As a versatile Composer, Orchestrator, Arranger, and Music Copyist at Makai Music since 2005, Brett is dedicated to delivering thrilling and visually stunning music. Previous roles include serving as an Adjunct Professor at Temple University in late 2018, and contributing music preparation and original sound design for various theatrical productions, including "The Glass Menagerie" and "Nobody Loves You." Brett holds an MFA in Musical Theatre Writing from New York University and a BFA in Musical Theatre Acting from Webster University.
