Maria Diaz

Maria Diaz has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Maria started working for New Jeresy Natural Gas in 1994 and held the role of Manager of Damage Prevention & Safety Awareness for 27 years until 2021. In July 2021, Maria joined New Jersey Resources as the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Maria Diaz completed their Bachelor's degree in Business from Berkeley College between 1985 and 1988. Maria also obtained an Associate's degree in Fashion Merchandising and Design from Berkeley College. In terms of additional certifications, Maria obtained the NDCCP certification from the National Diversity Council in January 2023. Maria also completed the Hispanic & Latino Executive Leadership Program from McKinsey & Company in 2022, as well as certifications in Human Resources Management and Human Resources Essentials from Cornell University in the same year. Maria has also obtained certifications in Diversity Equity & Inclusion from the University of South Florida in 2021 and in Diversity & Inclusion for HR from Cornell University in 2020.
