Adam Szczepaniak

Deputy State Librarian at New Jersey State Library

Adam Szczepaniak serves as the Deputy State Librarian at the New Jersey State Library Talking Book and Braille Center since April 2007. Previously, Adam held various librarian roles, including Librarian at the Maryland State Department of Education - Md. Lib. Blind and Handicapped from 2000 to 2007, and Associate Director for Library Operations at the University of Maryland, Baltimore Health Sciences and Human Services Library from 1998 to 1999. Adam's extensive experience also includes Director of Library Services at the United States Army Medical Research Institute for Chemical Defense, and roles at the University of Alabama and the State University of New York. Adam graduated with a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor's Degree in United States History from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
