Susan Shiff

Susan Shiff is the current Trustee at New Jersey Symphony. Susan has also previously worked as the Senior Vice President, Center for Observational and Real-World Evidence, at Merck from June 2014 to March 2021. In this role, they were responsible for building and leading the Center for Observational and Real World Evidence (CORE).

Shiff has also worked at Cara Therapeutics and Synthace Limited.

Susan is an active member of developing women leaders and has been appointed to the Merck Global Health Innovation Fund in 2018.

Susan Shiff has a MBA from Cornell University in Management, a MA from the University of Cincinnati in Research Methods, a BA from San Francisco State University in Political Science, and a PhD from the University of California, Los Angeles in Research Methods/Epidemiology.
