Hartmann

Patrick Hartmann is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in budget management and fiscal analysis across various governmental entities. Currently serving as Senior Director of Budget at NJ TRANSIT since October 2020, Hartmann previously held the position of Director of Expense Budget at the New York City Department of Transportation, overseeing a budget exceeding $1 billion and focusing on program evaluation and advocacy to the NYC Office of Management and Budget. Additional roles include Finance and Administration Manager for the City of Milwaukee's Department of Public Works, Operations Analyst for the City of Madison's Sanitation Division, and Budget Analyst for multiple city departments in Milwaukee. Hartmann began a career in public finance as a Program Auditor with the State of Wisconsin Legislative Audit Bureau. Hartmann holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
