Richard Schaefer

Richard Schaefer is currently the Senior Vice President of Capital Programs at NJ TRANSIT, overseeing a multi-billion dollar capital program. Richard also serves as an Adjunct Professor at New Jersey Institute of Technology, teaching a graduate level class in bridge design. With over 20 years of experience in bridge and highway projects, their expertise includes seismic analysis, Accelerated Bridge Construction, and disaster recovery.
