Michele Caracappa

Michele Caracappa is the Chief Program Officer at NEW LEADERS. Michele was previously the Chief Academic Officer at Success Academy Charter Schools from July 2015 to June 2019. Prior to that, they were the Managing Director of Humanities at Success Academy Charter Schools from July 2013 to June 2015. Before that, they were the Principal of Success Academy Bronx 1 from July 2010 to June 2013.

Michele Caracappa has a master's degree from Pace University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

Michele Caracappa reports to Jean Desravines, CEO. They work with Sonia Beatty - Chief of Staff to CEO & Talent Officer, John Jenkins - Chief Implementation Officer, and Noah Wepman - Chief Financial & Strategy Officer.
