Elena P.

Elena P. has a diverse and extensive work experience. Elena started their professional background in 2004 as an Analyst and Digital Transformation Manager at Insurance Protection. Elena then served as the Chair and Chief Technology Officer at Ukrainian Insurance Capital, where they successfully implemented a management information system and achieved significant improvements in underwriting and claims management. Elena worked as an IT Consultant and Deputy Chair for Investment into Ukraine and Lemma, where they played a crucial role in aligning business and technology, modernizing IT infrastructures, and achieving cost savings. Before relocating to Canada, Elena worked for multiple clients, paving the way for their digital transformation and improving IT efficiency and data security. Elena also gained experience as an Agile Project Manager/Scrum Master at Absolunet, leading a team and closely managing various concurrent projects. Elena then joined Université de Sherbrooke, where they focused on educational projects aimed at enhancing skills following immigration to Canada. Most recently, Elena became the Vice President of IT at New Look Vision Group.

Elena P. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Entrepreneurship from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University in 1998. Elena also received a Master of Science degree in Banking from Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics in 2002. In the same year, they pursued their Master of Science degree in International Economics from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. Elena completed a College degree in Accounting and Auditing from Antratcite College from 1996 to 1998. Later, in 2017, they attended Université de Sherbrooke and achieved a Master of Business Administration (MBA) for Executives. Elena also obtained various certifications, including ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management, Professional Scrum Master 1, and being a member of ISACA Vancouver Chapter.
