Emily C. Nitschke

Emily C. Nitschke currently serves as the Assistant General Counsel for the New Mexico Early Childhood Education and Care Department, beginning in October 2023. Prior experience includes working as an Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of Lynda Latta, LLC, where responsibilities involved managing a diverse caseload and conducting legal research. Additional roles include law clerk positions with the American Civil Liberties Union of New Mexico and the Law Offices of Lynda Latta, LLC, as well as a summer legal internship with Diocesan Migrant & Refugee Services, Inc. Emily Nitschke holds a Juris Doctor degree from The University of New Mexico School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies from The University of New Mexico.
