Marko Hananel is an experienced attorney currently serving as an Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Appeals Division of the New Mexico Office of the Attorney General since March 2017. Prior to this role, Marko was an Assistant District Attorney at the First Judicial District Attorney's Office of New Mexico from August 2014 to February 2017, where responsibilities included trial litigation. Marko holds a Juris Doctor degree from William & Mary Law School (2014) and a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Political Science from The University of New Mexico (2010).
