Tarin Nix

Tarin Nix is an experienced political consultant currently serving as the Deputy Commissioner of Public Affairs for the New Mexico State Land Office since January 2019. In addition to this role, Tarin Nix has been the owner of Voter Research, a political consulting company based in New Mexico, since February 2013. Previous positions include Political & Business Development at NuStats, Campaign Manager for Stephanie Garcia Richard's successful campaign for HD 43, and Senior Analyst at Stanford Campaigns. Early in the career, Tarin Nix held various roles including Field Director for Joe Garcia for Congress and Larry Joe Doherty for US Congress, along with work as a columnist for The Austin Post. Tarin Nix holds a Master’s in Social Work with a focus on Nonprofit Management and Public Policy from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Women’s Studies from The University of Alabama.
