Dr. Sultan Alshareef

Dr. Sultan Alshareef serves as the Director of Sustainability at New Murabba since October 2023 and holds the position of Advisory Board Member for the Center for Sustainability and Climate at Prince Sultan University, where engagement began in February 2024 as voluntary work. Dr. Alshareef is a co-founder and Board Member of the Sustainability Professionals of Saudi Arabia (SPSA) since November 2023, also participating in various roles within sustainability and urban development, including General Manager at NCECKSA and Sustainability Expert at The Royal Commission for AlUla. Previous experience includes project management at the Ministry of Media and consultancy for sustainability and green buildings at Architectural Engineering Office. Dr. Alshareef earned a PhD in Sustainability in the Built Environment from Trinity College Dublin, complemented by two Master's degrees in Construction Engineering and Management and Transportation Engineering and Planning from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering, as well as a Bachelor of Architecture from Umm Al-Qura University.
