Vanessa Reed

Vanessa Reed has held various roles throughout their work experience. Vanessa began their career at the British Music Information Centre as a Promotions Manager from October 1997 to December 2000. After that, they worked at the European Cultural Foundation in Amsterdam as a Grants Manager, where they focused on funding policies and managed grants for intercultural projects from an unspecified start date until 2005. Following this, they joined ABL cultural consulting as a Senior Consultant from January 2006 to May 2008. From June 2008 to July 2019, Reed served as the Chief Executive of PRS Foundation. Currently, they hold the position of President and CEO at New Music USA, starting in August 2019.

Vanessa Reed attended Exeter College from 1991 to 1993, where they pursued studies in Music. Following that, they enrolled at the University of Southampton from 1993 to 1997. During this period, they achieved a First Class BA Honours degree in French and Music.
