Chevelle Thompson-Rose, MSW, LMSW, currently serves as a Discharge Planning Social Worker at New Orleans East Hospital, providing vital support to patients navigating post-hospital care challenges. With extensive experience in social work, Chevelle founded Verbal Visions Publishing and Entertainment, managing the production and marketing of written and musical materials. Previous roles include serving as a Health Disparities Social Worker for the Louisiana Department of Health, where Chevelle focused on increasing COVID-19 vaccination rates, and various leadership positions in organizations such as Catholic Charities, New Outlook Behavioral Health Center, and Volunteers of America of Greater New Orleans. Chevelle holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work and is pursuing a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis on Behavioral Health Management at Grand Canyon University.
