Jason Nicholson

Jason Nicholson is an experienced educator and business owner with a strong background in literature, philosophy, and photography. Currently teaching at New Roads School since August 2016, Jason has developed an innovative curriculum that enhances students' understanding of diverse literary and philosophical traditions while fostering critical thinking and a passion for the humanities. As the owner of JNix Photography, Jason specializes in portrait and wedding photography, emphasizing high-quality and creative images alongside exceptional client service. Previous roles include Department Chair of English at Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy, where Jason led educational strategies, and Department Chair of Humanities at Culver Academies, focusing on personnel management and instructional resource development. Jason's educational credentials include advanced degrees in philosophy from Marquette University and the University of Dallas, as well as ongoing emergency care training at Cedar Sinai.
