José J. Anguís

José J. Anguís has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. José J. is currently working as an Equity Research VP at New Street Research since February 2022. Prior to this role, they founded Villa Gaspar in April 2020, where they served as the Founder.

Anguís also worked at Altman Solon, where they held the positions of Engagement Manager from December 2021 to February 2022 and Senior Consultant from July 2020 to December 2021. Before joining Altman Solon, they worked at Altman Vilandrie & Company as a Consultant from September 2018 to July 2020.

In addition, Anguís worked at Sachem Partners as an MBA Associate from January 2018 to May 2018. José J. also gained experience as a Private Equity MBA Intern at Growth Catalyst Partners from September 2017 to December 2017 and as a Strategy and Business Development MBA Intern at Juniper Networks from June 2017 to September 2017.

Prior to their MBA internships, Anguís had extensive experience at Telefonica, where they held various roles such as Global Account Director from November 2015 to October 2016, Global Solutions & Innovation Manager from September 2012 to November 2015, Global Project Manager from September 2010 to September 2012, and Network Management Center Coordinator from March 2009 to September 2010.

Before joining Telefonica, Anguís worked as a Network Engineer at Grupo SMS (Telefonica contractor) from December 2007 to March 2009. José J. also gained valuable experience as a Network Engineer (Internship) at TCNS in Birmingham, UK from March 2007 to June 2007, where they were responsible for the design, installation, and configuration of a Wireless LAN for a customer.

Overall, Anguis has a solid background in equity research, entrepreneurship, management consulting, private equity, and telecommunications.

José J. Anguís completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad de Sevilla, which they completed from 2001 to 2007. Alongside their formal education, they also acquired additional certifications, including the Global Management Program from IESE Business School in 2014, a Postgraduate in Business Telecom from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2013, and a certification in Mobile Technologies and Applications from Universidad de Sevilla in 2009.
