Jonathan Lee

Jonathan Lee currently serves as the Director of Research at New Sun Road, P.B.C., leading R&D initiatives focused on microgrid architecture and control while supporting global projects aimed at enhancing electricity and information access. Jonathan's extensive experience includes positions as a Senior Research and Development Engineer and Research Consultant, emphasizing innovation in power systems, data analytics, and algorithm development. Additionally, Jonathan holds an adjunct professor role in Energy Systems Management at the University of San Francisco. With a robust educational background comprising a PhD and multiple master's degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, Jonathan has conducted significant research on decentralized solar systems in sub-Saharan Africa and has developed solutions for rural energy access.
