Jennifer Downing Giron's work experience begins in 2001 as a Management Associate at Prudential Financial, where they worked until 2005. Jennifer then worked as a Summer Associate at Deloitte Consulting in 2005 before joining the company as a Senior Consultant from 2007 to 2009. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Manager at Deloitte Consulting, where they were responsible for driving program success and managing key performance indicators. Jennifer then joined Deloitte as a Program Management Lead - U.S. Global Office from 2011 to 2014, where they organized and executed summits across multiple countries. In 2014, they worked as an Organizational Change Manager at SunTrust, optimizing processes and implementing organizational change strategies. Jennifer then joined The Broad Center as a Broad Resident from 2015 to 2017, participating in a selective program for emerging leaders in urban education. During the same period, they also worked at Fulton County Schools as a Manager of IT Strategy and Metrics, responsible for IT governance and change management. Jennifer'srole later transitioned to become the Talent Director at Fulton County Schools from 2017 to 2021, where they provided strategic oversight and direction for performance management and consulted on various human capital matters. Most recently, Jennifer has been working as the Senior Director of People & Culture at New Teacher Center since 2021.
Jennifer Downing Giron has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Duke University. Jennifer also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. Additionally, Jennifer has a Master of Education (MEd) degree with a focus on Educational Leadership and Administration, General from The Broad Center for the Management of School Systems.
