Glenda Tesalona

Glenda Tesalona is an experienced education and community engagement professional with a diverse background in supporting students and promoting partnerships within various educational settings. Currently serving as Alumni Relations Manager at New Visions for Public Schools since October 2013, Glenda focuses on enhancing postsecondary readiness for alumni. Concurrently, Glenda holds the position of Community Engagement Manager at New Visions Charter HS for Advanced Math & Science II, where efforts concentrate on fostering relationships with external partners to provide students with internship opportunities and real-world exposure. Previous roles include Program Officer at New Visions, HRO Account Manager at Frank Crystal & Company, Director of Global Classrooms at the United Nations Association of the USA, Literacy Coordinator at Community School District 5, and Director of Brownstone School at Homes for the Homeless. Glenda holds an MA in Education from Fordham University and a BA in Political Science and Urban Studies from Baruch College.
