Terence Kennedy

Associate Director of Technology Operations at New Visions for Public Schools

Terence Kennedy has a diverse range of work experience spanning several industries. Terence started their career in 2003 as a Job Advisor and Customer Service representative at Jobcentre Plus. Terence then worked as a Sales Associate at Currys before joining Virgin Media as a First Line Technical Support Analyst, Network Surveillance and Outage Coordinator, and later as a Senior Technical Support Analyst. In 2010, Terence became an IT Coordinator at The Juilliard School. Terence then moved on to New Visions for Public Schools, where they held various roles including Services and Support Manager, Technology Operations Manager, and currently as the Associate Director of Technology Operations. In these positions, Terence oversaw technology operations, managed budgets and procurement, led project teams, and implemented security measures for data protection. Terence also served as a product owner, defining vision, strategy, and roadmap for multiple proprietary products. Terence has a strong background in technology and has demonstrated leadership and management skills throughout their career.

Terence Kennedy obtained a Bachelor's of Science (Honors) degree in Computer Science from Liverpool John Moores University. In terms of additional certifications, Terence received the BetterCloud Certified Administrator certification from BetterCloud in July 2021. In February 2015, they acquired the Technical Project Management certification from the American Management Association. Terence also obtained the Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) certification from Apple in 2012. In 2011, Terence achieved the ITIL Intermediate - Operational Support and Analysis certification from EXIN, as well as the ITIL v3 Foundation certification, also from EXIN.
