Digital Design & Verification Engineer at New Wave DV

Timothy Paige has over 35 years of work experience in the field of engineering. Timothy began their career in 1981 as a Staff Engineer at IBM, where they were a team lead in the simulation of an ASIC multi-port PCI-X to PCI-X bridge chip and a major team member for an ASIC PCI to PCI multi-port bridge chip. In 2001, they moved to LSI Corporation as a Senior Design Engineer, where they designed a Verilog-based multi-port communication AMBA peripheral that included an internal SRAM, FIFOs, hardware semaphores, and hardware flags. In 2003, they became a Contract Design Engineer for ManpowerGroup, contracted to Honeywell to design and verify the RAM interface to an Arm7 processor for a large ASIC chip. In 2004, they joined Vitesse Semiconductor Corp. as a Senior Member of Technical Staff. In 2007, Timothy Paige became a Principle Electrical Engineer at North Pole Engineering, consulting on the design and verification of ASIC and FPGA hardware. Finally, in 2013, they joined New Wave Design and Verification as a Digital Design & Verification Engineer and Microsemi as a Contract Engineer to install and verify a DesignWare USB 2.0 device soft core (USB Core), the DesignWare VERA verification IP (USB VIP) and the USB 2.0 NanoPhy hard macro (Nano PHY) into a top level ASIC environment.

Timothy Paige obtained their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis in 1981. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Engineering from Simpson University between 1976 and 1980.
