Derek Hopkey

Derek Hopkey has a diverse range of work experience in finance and management roles. Derek started their career in 1988 at Bank of America, where they worked in the Accounts and Loans department for five years. In 1994, they joined Fallon Engineering as a Business Manager, where they worked until 1998. After that, they joined Clear Channel Media and Entertainment as a VP Finance/Regional Controller, where they stayed for 14 years until 2012. During their time at Clear Channel, they oversaw a wide range of financial operations. In 2013, they joined CBS Radio as a Controller for a brief period before moving to New Wave Entertainment in 2014. At New Wave, they hold the position of VP Finance and is responsible for managing the financial aspects of the company.

Derek Hopkey obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Diego State University from 1990 to 1993. Derek then pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Woodbury University between 2005 to 2007.
