Joseph Cook

Joseph Cook is an experienced data scientist with a strong background in developing algorithms and analytical models. Current employment at New Western began in August 2022, following a tenure at StoneLock from January 2019 to July 2022, where significant contributions included creating a facial recognition algorithm for embedded devices and a landmark detection model. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Data Analyst at Shook, Hardy & Bacon L.L.P., where Joseph created BI dashboards and built machine learning models with high accuracy for financial predictions. Joseph also has a background as a Remote Operations Analyst at SirsiDynix, overseeing business intelligence products and utilizing analytics tools to enhance decision-making processes. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Data Science from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Utah State University.
