Issel Guberna

Issel Guberna has a diverse work experience in various roles and responsibilities. Currently, they are the Director of Engineering at NEW WORK SE, where they oversee the tech team, tracks OKRs, and handles hiring. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Engineering at ZINIO, leading backend, infrastructure, and database teams. Issel also served as the CTO at Mascoteros, Chicplace, and negocius.com, where they ensured platform stability and managed features and deadlines. Additionally, they have held positions as a Senior Backend Developer at RocaSalvatella, a Web Department Tech Lead at Trovit, a Backend Senior Developer at Floraqueen, an Analyst at etdom.com, and a CTO at Grupo intercom. Throughout their career, they have gained expertise in various technologies such as Ruby on Rails, Kotlin, Java, Symfony, AWS, MySQL, and LAMP Platform.

Issel Guberna completed a licenciatura en informática in Ingeniería informática from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona from 1998 to 2007. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Pattern-Oriented Software Architectures: Programming Mobile Services for Android Handheld Systems from Coursera in 2014.
