Karsten Silkenbäumer

Karsten Silkenbäumer began their work experience as a Werkstudent at Imago Computeranimation und Informationstechnologie GmbH from July 1999 to March 2001. Karsten then joined Imago IT GmbH as a Software Developer, where they focused on web software development and was responsible for building, developing, maintaining, and supporting a web-based e-commerce platform. Karsten worked at Imago IT GmbH from April 2001 to February 2011.

Karsten then joined XING in March 2011 and worked in various roles. Karsten started as a Software Engineer and later became a Senior Software Engineer. Finally, they became a Team Lead Software Engineering in December 2014. Karsten worked at XING until October 2019.

From October 2019 onward, Karsten has been working at New Work SE as a Team Lead Engineering.

Karsten Silkenbäumer received their education from Technische Universität Kaiserslautern from 1992 to 2001, where they obtained a degree in Informatik. In addition to their formal education, Silkenbäumer has also obtained various certifications, including the Basic Management Program - Essentials from LUCAS CONSULTING TEAM in 2015, Kommunikation & Konflikt from LUCAS CONSULTING TEAM in 2014, and M101JS: MongoDB for Node.js Developers from MongoDB in 2013. Karsten also received certifications in Gesprächsführung für Menschen in Schnittstellenpositionen from oose Innovative Informatik GmbH and Web Application Vulnerabilities from Context Information Security in 2012. In 2011, Silkenbäumer completed a Security Awareness Program from XING.
