David Chandley

David Chandley has extensive work experience as a meteorologist. David began their career at WSB-TV in 1988, where they served as a Meteorologist for 26 years until 2014. In 2015, they joined FOX 5 Atlanta, WAGA-TV as the Chief Meteorologist, a position they currently hold.

David Chandley received their Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from The University of Georgia from 1980 to 1984. David then pursued a Certificate in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University, which they completed from 1987 to 1989. In addition to their formal education, David also obtained a certification in CBM/AMS from the American Meteorological Society. The specific month and year of their certification are unknown.
