Naveen Ballem

Naveen Ballem is an experienced surgeon and angel investor with a strong focus on bariatric surgery and patient-centered care. Currently, Naveen serves as a Surgeon at New York Bariatric Group and holds director positions in bariatric surgery at both Hunterdon Healthcare and Clara Maass Medical Center. Naveen is also an angel investor with the Harvard Business School Alumni Angels Association and Directly. Previous experience includes a laparoscopic surgery fellowship at UAB School of Medicine and an MD from Cleveland Clinic, where Naveen specialized in endocrine surgery. Educational background includes a Master's in Healthcare Management from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and an MD from the University of the West Indies. Additionally, Naveen holds a BA in psychology and English from Boston College.
