Cristina Csimma

Cristina Csimma currently serves as a member of the Board of Managers at NYBC Ventures and as Chair of the Board of Directors at Sardona Therapeutics, both appointed in 2024. With a strong background in leadership roles, Cristina has held positions such as Non Executive Director at Syncona Limited since February 2022 and various committee positions at the National Institutes of Health since 2013. Additional contributions include serving on the Scientific Advisory Board for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the TREAT-NMD Advisory Committee for Therapeutics. Past roles encompass positions on the boards of Palisade Bio, Caraway Therapeutics, and Forendo Pharma, among others. Cristina holds a BS Pharmacy and PharmD from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and a Master’s in Health Policy from Northeastern University.
