Bill Logan

Bill Logan has a diverse background in education, tree care, and writing. Since 2002, Bill Logan has taught courses in arboriculture at The New York Botanical Garden, focusing on both professional horticulture students and urban tree care for incoming foresters. As the founder and president of Urban Arborists since 1992, Bill Logan has led a respected tree care firm providing diagnostic services to numerous municipalities and private clients in the tristate area. Additionally, as a writer for W.W. Norton since 1989, Bill Logan has authored several notable publications, including "Oak: The Frame of Civilization," and has a forthcoming book titled "Air: The Restless Shaper of the World." Bill Logan holds a BA from Columbia University and an MA in English from Stanford University.
