The North Carolina Arboretum

The North Carolina Arboretum
The North Carolina Arboretum in Asheville, N.C., works to advance the state's future by creatively connecting people, plants and places through education, design and economic development. This 434-acre facility offers 65 acres of cultivated gardens, 10 miles of trails for all abilities, rotating exhibits, adult and youth education programs, a gift shop, and a cafe. The North Carolina Arboretum hosts more than 500,000 visitors annually. The North Carolina Arboretum Society is a related non-profit organization that secures cash and in-kind donations and volunteer services to support the work of the Arboretum.
