Chantal Bernard

Chantal Bernard is a seasoned professional in philanthropy and strategic partnerships, currently serving as the Managing Director of Philanthropy at Asia Society since March 2024. Prior to this role, Chantal held the position of AVP Development at Brooklyn Academy of Music from October 2021 to March 2024 and served as AVP of Strategic Partnerships at New York Botanical Garden from July 2019 to October 2021. Chantal's extensive experience also includes a decade at BAM, where responsibilities included directing the Sponsorship department and managing corporate partnerships as the Director of Strategic Partnerships. Earlier in Chantal’s career, a role as Sr. Manager of Strategic Partnership at Macy's Parade & Entertainment Group was instrumental in developing national sponsorship opportunities. Chantal holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and English from Stony Brook University.
