Mary Margulis-Ohnuma is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as Senior Policy Counsel at the New York City Bar Association, a role held since September 2015, where responsibilities include collaborating with the organization's President and 150 committees to formulate policy positions on diverse legal and social issues. Prior to this position, Mary held various roles, including Counsel at Ballard Spahr LLP from January 2012 to July 2015, and Associate at both Stillman & Friedman, P.C. (2003-2011) and Morvillo Abramowitz Grand Iason & Anello (1999-2001). Additionally, Mary worked as a litigation associate at Rogers & Wells, LLP (Clifford Chance) from 1997 to 1999. Mary holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School and a B.A. in English from Yale University.

Protecting the public’s welfare remains one of the Association’s highest priorities.
