Elinor Tatum

Elinor Tatum is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in publishing, education, and nonprofit leadership. Currently serving as Trustee Emeritus at St. Lawrence University and as a Level 1 Ski Instructor at Belleayre Mountain Ski Center, Tatum also owns and operates NY Amsterdam News while holding multiple leadership roles, including Publisher and Chief Operating Officer. Tatum is an active member of various boards, including the New York City Center and the Harriet and Esteban Vicente Foundation, and has served the Creative Visions Foundation and Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem. Tatum’s educational background includes a BA in Government from St. Lawrence University, an MA in Journalism from New York University, and an MA from Stockholm University, along with an honorary doctorate from Metropolitan College of New York.
