Sean Capperis

Sean Capperis serves as the Managing Director of Policy and Analytics at the New York City Housing Development Corporation since September 2019, previously holding the title of Vice President in the same department. Prior to this, Sean led policy development initiatives at the NYC Department of Housing Preservation & Development, where key projects included the implementation of Mandatory Inclusionary Housing and the establishment of proactive enforcement programs. Sean's academic experience includes teaching advanced spatial analysis at New York University and significant contributions to research in housing policy at the NYU Furman Center. An expert in data analysis and policy formulation, Sean's career spans various roles in governmental and academic settings, underpinned by a Master of Public Administration from NYU and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh.
