Jamie Kleinberg

Jamie Kleinberg, PE, CEM, serves as the Energy Manager for the NYC School Construction Authority, where responsibilities include developing and managing a comprehensive energy management and sustainability program aimed at decarbonizing NYC public schools. Kleinberg has also been a Visiting Instructor at Pratt Institute since 2019, teaching courses in Green Building Science and Environmental Science for Construction Management. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Program Manager and Senior Project Manager at NYC Citywide Administrative Services, focusing on energy and carbon reduction projects for city agencies, and as Building Systems Engineer at Steven Winter Associates, conducting energy audits and HVAC system evaluations. Earlier positions involved policy development at Urban Green Council and internships in analytical and synthetic chemistry at OSI Pharmaceuticals. Kleinberg holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University.
